“ This is not a coffee shop where you order fancy drinks. It’s literally the Roastery. They have the BEST coffees I have ever tried. I thought I disliked coffees from Africa, but it turns out I had not tried the right ones and brewed them the right way too. Chelbasa done in the Aeropress is out of this world. I also get the monthly subscription sent to my house which is darn near life changing. Delicious coffee beans delivered to my house. The staff is also very friendly too. Go to one of their cafes to get coffee to drink. Go to the roastery for an excellent selection for home! ”

“ Decaf Honduras Marcala is great! Really glad to find a roaster with a solid, recently roasted decaf option. I love espresso so much that I travel with my Decent, but I can only drink decaf. I forgot my beans on a business trip, and I’m happy I found Tinker! When brewing these beans I kept it simple with a ramped profile starting at 9 bars and ending at 6 bars, 7s preinfusion, 2:1 ratio, 194° water, and an extra gram in an 18 gram portafilter. I found it perfect to drink straight and it combined well with oat milk. Thanks Tinker! ”

“ Some of the best coffee beans I've had in any city in the world. The website tells more about the farms where the beans are sourced from, and the staff onsite provide great insights into the various offerings. The naturally processed Ethiopian beans make for a wonderful pour over. The bottled drinks are also fantastic, especially the cold brew and golden milk. Drive through pop-ups and collaborations with local brands provide variety while maintaining safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. ”

“ This out of the way production facility is not somewhere you go to sit down for a cup of coffee (no seating or regular coffee service). That said, they do have bags of coffee and coffee goods for sale. The friendly fellow that helped me recommended a blend based on my preferred taste. He was kind enough to make me an espresso as well. It was nice to have the opportunity to sample a different blend than I was purchasing. I really appreciate it when roasters like Tinker and Julian have public facing sections of their roasteries. ”
